Born in a bar fight in a local Winnipeg tavern, Lucid was formed by the remaining members of Black Demina. Chris, Sean and Aaron had decided that they would get back on their feet with a new guitar player. Reigning from the hard hitting punk sound of Strip the Label (a calgary based band) Carlin Starr joined the Party. His heavy licks and kick ass attitude put a new face on the boys. All they needed to fill their heavy yet tasty sound was a ballsy bottom end, and they found it in a little ol' country boy who could make a city crumble with one pluck of his strings. That BOY goes by the alias of Mr. Wade Turner.After a few solid jams the boys knew they had a sound that would make even your girlfriend second guess her morals. bringin back the art of guitar solos, Hard hitting guitar licks, angered bass lines, busty banging drum beats and massive vocals were soon to be this bands main concern. A few months went by and the boys figured they had enough material to hit the stage. After a few broken bottles and black eyes Lucid became a regular name around the infamous Zoo bathroom walls. Thier live, sleezy, back alley attitude and extremely loud stage show is one to remember, not to mention the heeps of gorgeous woman at every event.At the moment the boys are working hard writing new material, drinking a plenty and keeping up the momentum.Stay Tuned for more LUCID news...
